بمناسبة عيد المعلم أقام سعادة سفير الجمهورية العراقية بدمشق الدبلوماسي المتميز نصير العزاوي حفلاً في مطعم (مازا) بدمشق، وشرفني بتقليدي وسام التميز الأكاديمي (وسام الكفاءات العراقية المتميزة)، الذي منحتني إياه مؤسسة الحكمة للمشاريع العلمية والتكنولوجية، ممثلة بالأخ العزيز الدكتور علاء ماهر أحمد يوم الاربعاء 20 آذار 2019.

وقدمت لسعادة السفير مجموعة كتب من تأليفي كهدية :

1 – كتاب (الاقتصاد السياسي)، منشورات جامعة دمشق، مقرر لطلاب السنة الأولى في كلية الاقتصاد بجامعة دمشق سابقاً، ويدرس الآن في بعض الجامعات السورية الخاصة.

2 – كتاب (الأزمة المالية العالمية والتحديات الاقتصادي الراهنة في الدول العربية)، منشورات المؤسسة الجامعية للدراسات والنشر والتوزيع، بيروت – لبنان.

3 – كتاب (الإصلاح الاقتصادي والتنمية البشرية في الجمهورية العربية)، دراسة تحليلية، بحث تم إنجازه أثناء وجودي بمهمة علمية كأستاذ زائر في جامعة اكستر – المملكة المتحدة، منشورات اتحاد الكتاب العرب بدمشق.

Academic Excellence Medal, (The Medal of Distinguished Iraqi Competencies))

Wisdom Foundation for Scientific and Technological Projects

On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Damascus, the distinguished diplomat Naseer Al-Azzawi, held a party at (Maza) restaurant in Damascus, and he honored me with the Medal of Academic Excellence (The Medal of Distinguished Iraqi Competencies), which was awarded to me by the Al-Hikma Foundation for Scientific and Technological Projects, represented by dear brother Dr. Alaa Maher Ahmed Yom Wednesday 20 March 2019

On this occasion, I presented to His Excellency the Ambassador a set of books written by me as a gift:

1 – The book (Political Economy), Damascus University Publications, a course for first-year students at the Faculty of Economics at Damascus University previously, and it is now taught in some private Syrian universities.

2 – The book (the global financial crisis and the current economic challenges in the Arab countries), publications of the University Foundation for Studies, Publishing and Distribution, Beirut – Lebanon.

3 – The book (Economic Reform and Human Development in the Arab Republic), an analytical study, research that was completed while I was on a scientific mission as a visiting professor at the University of Exeter – United Kingdom, publications of the Arab Writers Union in Damascus.
